Karen Clark-OylerAttorney Karen J. Clark-Oyler was born in Seattle, Washington. She attended University of Oregon and graduated with a degree in marketing and business in 1979. Upon graduation, Ms. Clark-Oyler began working for Northwest Natural Gas Company, and while employed there enrolled in the Northwestern School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 1985. She then took and passed the Pennsylvania Bar Examination and accepted a position as clerk to the Honorable Oscar F. Spicer, Chief Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Adams County. After completing her tenure with Judge Spicer, Ms. Oyler accepted a two-year clerkship with the Honorable John MacPhail Judge of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. During her tenure on the Commonwealth Court, Ms. Oyler concentrated in research involving workers’ compensation appeals.

In 1988, Ms Clark-Oyler established her own law firm devoted to representing injured workers, and disabled persons. In 1991, her husband, Ralph D. Oyler, joined her in partnership. Since that time, Ms Clark-Oyler has handled well over 1,000 workers’ compensation claims to decision before workers’ compensation judges throughout the state.

Ms. Clark-Oyler has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Pennsylvania Association for Justice. She has been a member of the Oregon State Bar, having taken and passed the Oregon Bar Examination in 1992.

Ms. Clark-Oyler was been committed to representing injured persons in Central Pennsylvania, as well as advising individuals with respect to Social Security Disability issues.

Ms. Clark-Oyler retired from the practice of law in 2013.
